Wedding? Yup, you heard me right. FortyOneTwenty is now shooting wedding videos. This was our first crack at it. It was a real challenge working with our new Canon 7D cameras...lots of kinks we still need to work out, but I'm really happy with the result. If you have a minute, check out a trailer we put together...CLICK HERE. Congratulation Po and Candis!
Also, if you know anyone that might want a video for their wedding...don't hesitate to send them our way.
This week has felt like Christmas for us here at FortyOneTwenty. On Tuesday I got a call letting us know that our pre-ordered Canon 7D cameras were finally in and ready to be picked up. We've been playing with them and really getting a feel for using a photo camera to capture HD video. It's really different, but the images you can capture are beautiful!
We are selling our current video setup and transitioning to a more light weight situation with these new 7D cameras. With this new transition we are hoping to delve into the wedding industry. It's not something I thought we'd be doing, but I'm hoping it will allow me to spend more time doing what I love the most...shooting and editing video.
As a design team we are always fascinated by Typography and we admire the creators of type faces. Its one thing for people to design a font and use it for typical day to day things, but to use fonts in creative atmospheres/environments just interests us even more. Here is a video of a group creating letters out of the screeching of car tires linked with computers. Pretty crazy!!!
Below are some pics taken that show a little of the behind the scenes action at the "Light Up The Dark" shoot. We used a Panasonic HVX200 with a Letus 35mm adapter. Makes the camera really heavy, but the shots are beautiful!
Colin Slade of How2Trainer recently asked me to be a guest speaker on his 10 week webinar series that ambitiously spans a huge array of online marketing topics. I was invited to speak on the episode that covered search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click advertising (PPC), and web analytics. These are areas near and dear to my heart...especially web analytics :)
Oh, you have a website but you've never heard of these? That's a problem...
Don't panic! You're in luck. Colin recorded the full hour-long webinar for those of you who couldn't make it to the live session. If you're business has a website, you need to watch this. There is a ton of critical info packed into it and its completely free.
After watching it, please feel free to ask questions or leave comments!
